Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with procedures and perform minor administrative tasks in a dental office setting.

Office Hours are M-F 8-5

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare patients for dental work, including taking x-rays and conducting preliminary dental exams
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments
- Sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions

Experience:

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar dental software
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience in infection control protocols and maintaining a clean environment
- Ability to assess patient needs, take vital signs, and record patient information accurately
- Previous experience assisting with CBCT/scanning technology is a plus
